Inside / Outside
IMy work is perceivably on the darker side, but the actually is, it's about exploration. My two current bodies of work are of military, and anatomical themes. The military pieces were derived from countless interviews with military personnel deployed overseas, in the attempts to illustrate what they went through, the war in their eyes. My anatomical works combine classic poses, in dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, with a very contemporary twist... illustrating what's underneath the skin, and the portrayed figure dissects a region of their body to show the structures that lay beneath.

I chose this artist because it has these drawn characters in different positions which means different body parts underneath the skin is shown. It appealed to me because this is not what a lot of artists normally do, this also symbolises that the artist wanted to prove to us that no matter what is in the outside is what its in the inside that really matters. It could also be about body exploration (disection of the body).

WWW: I followed the tasks instructions and the skull has the right opacity on it.

You Must Stay At Home - Zoe Norfolk
Living in unique and challenging times, Norfolk was keen to capture the mood and the stories of those impacted by COVID-19 in her neighbourhood of North London.
During Lockdown she photographed over 80 households behind their windows, from individuals to 3 generations and those living with a disability. Each sitter was framed by a window or door mainly using an 85mm portrait lens, the reflections of each image were used to add more detail and reflect the world that had stopped outside.

My response
Explain what you took from Zoe Norfolk when you took these images.
I had to take pics of a window reflecting the outside buildings that are reflecting the person inside of it.

Development 5
For this exam project i had to take pictures of central London of clear views where i could add more buildings next to it to make London look more crowded with buildings. Which gives London a more wealthier look. My process was to copy buildings from other pictures and paste into other images.
