Summer Homework
For this homework i went to Albania in my hometown shkodër it relates to fragments because am showing different parts of this country.
In this Look Up task i went out and photographed buildings (skyscrapers)
WWW: ive managed to take a photograph of a tall building, the sky was plain at the back which makes the building stand out more.
EBI: I shouldve got closer and have a low view point of the building.

Patrick Cornillet
He was born in 1968. He was a painter not a photographer, he paints buildings and puts no backrounds behind them. In his paintings parts of the structure were missing, he alters his images in this way to draw attention to parts of buildings, like institution buildings. He did this for drawing attention to the unseen parts of everyday building parts that no one cares about or that they dont pay attention to.

In my response i needed to take pictures of buildings with a plain backround at the back they had to be perfectly exposed and focused on the main building, and photographed from a corner perspective.

WWW: The photos were taken from a nice perspective and the edits are well made, i used the polygon lasso tool to get these edits.
EBI:The building on the right is white and it does not have enough texture to make it stand out from the white backround.

WWW: I followed the rules of the task and the building is coloured in and a nice a exposure, the colour blue matches with the basic white british sky.
Saminova intro
Russian born artist Anastasia Savinova is now based in Sweden creating architectural masterpieces through digital processing. The artist's work is constantly circling around juxtapositions; the house and nature, walking to find new landscapes and digital rendering to create the images, the documented photographs processed together to make something unnatural.

My response
WWW: The structure was well made, i had one building at the top then two, then 4. The base layer fits well with the top part and the garden.
IBF: If there was less windows and i couldve of added other features of buildings.

Gallery Review
Chris Killip photographed people in the north of England. He wanted to document the lives of those affected by the economic downturn of the 70s and 80s.
Killip worked with the communities he photographed. He saw the togetherness of communities and the industries that sustained them. He stayed with them until he witnessed their loss. He described the people in the deindustrialised north as having had history done to them. |
In this photograph you can see that the place is gray and sad and the girl is the only happiness left there, the photographer shows us that the girl still plays around the sad and depressing backround, which does not affect her fun because she is so used to it.

He seems like he is seeking for help, hiding somewhere without his family.
He has a poor hygiene, and he is traumatised from just what happened to him, he seems to be in a foetal position.

In this image they are using compositon rules such as layers cause of the mist, however you can also see the bis ship and the small kids which creates a contrast between them, and in the image you got the home, the kids and the work which all relate to eachother because they are the main thing of life.
